Latinx Heritage Month Celebration
EJIE proudly celebrated Latinx Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th! Throughout Latinx Heritage Month, our campus buzzed with vibrant activities, from tabling events showcasing Latinx art, music, and traditions to delicious luncheons that spotlighted Latinx faculty/staff as well as featured Latin American cuisine. These events created spaces for campus community to share stories and celebrate their cultural heritage. Additionally, we hosted an educational discussion around Latinx student experiece at HSI institutions. Attendees gained tangible strategies to support Latinx students, including culturally responsive teaching methods, mentorship programs, and creating inclusive campus environments.
